About Kuza

Kuza is a Luganda word meaning to thrive or to grow. The seeds of Kuza were planted more that 10 years ago out of the shared vision of two friends. Patrick and Nathan were given the vision and called by the Jesus for Kuza while working and serving in missions and East Africa. Over the years Patrick and Nathan together with an incredible team of volunteers and staff have served thousands of refugees and people suffering under the poverty. For us serving the community means helping the people not only grow but thrive both physically and spiritually. Our strategies for the communities include agriculture, clean water development, medical aid partnering with local health care personnel, medical training, education for children and adults, community outreach and community development. Here at Kuza we take deep comfort by our trust in the words of Jesus in John 13:34: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The Strategic Direction of Kuza African Missions for the next five years will be to spearhead the relationship with the local communities of Bukomansimbi. Our goal is for this relationship to continue to flourish into a heritage of experiences and learning that fosters spiritual and physical wellbeing. The efforts of the people of Kuza Africa Mission strengthened our organization and blossomed in the lives of rural communities in a collective effort to fight against extreme poverty and nurture spiritual wholeness.
